Mrs. Janet Renee Gee Vaughn, age 50 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her residence.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. March 25, 2017 at the Waverly Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Daren Brown officiating.
Janet entered this life on August 4, 1966 in Hopkinsville, KY, daughter to Leasil and Janice Adams Gee. Janet received her Bachelors degree from Austin Peay State University and later attended the University of Louisville where she received her master’s degree in Social Work. Janet loved cooking, taking care of people, and was a faithful member of the Waverly Church of the Nazarene.
Janet was preceded in death by her father, Leasil Gee.
Janet leaves behind her loving husband, Ray Vaughn, loving children, Clay Hamblin, Caigen Phillips (Paul); mother, Janice Adams Gee; brothers, Greg Gee (Sherry Litchfield), Gary Gee; grandchildren, Logan Phillips, Lucas Phillips; and Gerald, Cindy, and Brandon Burke.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Waverly Church of the Nazarene building Fund, 619 East Main St, Waverly, TN, 37185.
