Jane Parchman

Betty “Jane” Parchman, age 76 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Houston County Community Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Springhill Methodist Church with Rev. Haley Robinson, Bro. Mike Thomas, and Sis. Freda Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The Parchman family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of service at Springhill Methodist Church.
Jane entered this life on September 26, 1938 in Houston County, TN, daughter of the late Harvey and Irene Claxton Ross. Jane was a faithful member of Springhill Methodist Church, previously worked as a cashier for Meriwether Lewis Electric Company, and loved spending time with her dog Charlie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Parchman, and son, Joey Parchman.
Survivors include son, Robert Earl (Lisa) Parchman; brothers, Jimmy Ross, Hubert Ross, Marvin Ross; sisters, Irma Dean Parchman, and Mary Smith. Jane also leaves behind grandchildren, Leanne (Travis) Venable, Christy (Jamie) Owen, Kimberly Parchman; great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Lane, Chloe, Sophie, Kylee, Brady, Austin, Gracie, and Olivia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stony Odom, Victor Dillard, Don Fitzhugh, Barry Wilson, Jeff Rye, Randy Baggett, Brent Parchman, and Chris Parchman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Regions Bank, 4657 West Main St, Erin, TN 37061 in support of the Houston County Community Hospital.
