James Stavely

James Taylor Stavely, age 74 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Houston County Community Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Chambers officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Stavely was born March 12, 1939 in Houston County, TN, son of the late Emmett Stavely and Annie Ferrell Stavely. He is preceded in death by his parents, and son James Terry Stavely.
Mr. Stavely is survived by his wife, Joyce Stavely, two sons; Jackie Stavely and Christopher Stavely, two daughters; Cindy Norman and Tammy Coleman, five brothers; Darrell Stavely, Homer Stavely, Charles Stavely, Frank Stavely and Jim Stavely, and two sisters; Mary Milam and Mable Lou Lane. Mr. Stavely is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, and three Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jamie Norman, Bruce Bryant, Frank Stavely, Harold Ferrell, Gene Ferrell,and Leon Ferrell.
