James `Snooks' Smith (Completed) - 1918 James `Snooks' Smith, 91, TN Ridge, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p,m. Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home with Rev. John Richardson and Rev. George Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Scott's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Monday at Nave Funeral Home and from 10am-until Service Time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 30, 1918 in Stewart County, the son of the late Sam Smith and Laura Jones Smith. He was a Christian and retired draw bridge attendant for L&N Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Unger Smith,TN Ridge,TN; sons,Jimmy Smith,TN Ridge,TN, Donald Smith,Erin,TN, Ricky Smith, Jeff Smith, Tracy Smith; daughter, Anita Paxton, all of TN Ridge, TN; sister, Ellma Lee Miller, Granite City, Ill; 13 grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren.
