James Rye

James Lee Rye , 55, formerly of Clarksville, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at his residence in Nashville. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Steve Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. He was born December 29, 1952 in Montgomery County, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Rye and Daisey Williams Rye. Mr. Rye was a Baptist and a Plumber for Vanderbilt University. He is survived by his sons, Christopher Rye, Brian Rye, both of Nashville; brothers, Robert Earl Rye, Palmyra, Cecil Rye, Ronald Dean Rye, both of Nashville, Donald Lee Rye, Lebanon; sisters, Daisey Roberts, Clarksville, Nancy Sorrell, Elgin, OK.
