James Pugh

James Gary Pugh, 57, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Chaplain Charles Currie officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. He was born January 20, 1952 in North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Carroll Pugh and his wife, Ae Suk Pugh. Mr. Pugh was a retired Sgt. 1st class in the U.S. Army and a member of the Korean Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, James Pugh Jr., Clarksville; daughter, Valerie Anne Gonzales, Clarksville; grandchildren, Isaiah Gonzales and Alana Gonzales Pallbearers will be members of the Korean Baptist Church.
