James Norris

James Edward Norris, age 56 of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 peacefully in his home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
James was born on August 27, 1958 in North Carolina, the son of Robert Edward Norris and Anne Jacobs Norris. He worked as an Ironworker at Fort Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Norris; step mother, Dolly Norris; brothers, Bill Norris and John (Amber) Norris; sisters, Peggy (Tom) Hewitt, Lora Oxendine-Taylor, and Janet Kuhlman; grandson, Brendan Fulmerhouser; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
