James Marvin Miller, 83 of Palmyra, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. John Maltis and Bro. Carl Sims officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 and on Saturday 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.
James Marvin was born February 9, 1935 in Dickson Co., son of the late Eldon Miller and Lela Blackwell Miller. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Germany and with the Big Red One. He was retired from being a self-employed salesman. He also was the former buyer for Booster Manufacturing Co.
James was an elder for 10 years at Hilldale Church of Christ and was currently a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents James is preceded in death by his wife Linda Louise Miller; brother, Eldon Miller Jr.; sisters, Beatrice Bryant and Dionne Baggett.
He is survived by his son, James Marvin (Kristi) Miller II.; daughters, Kathy (Scott) McNair and Cynthia (Alan) Dabalos; grandchildren,
A. J. Dabalos, Jamie McNair, Jordan McNair, James Miller III, Ella Miller, and Victoria Dabalos.
Pallbearers will be; James Miller III., A.J. Dabalos, Jerry Ferrell, Ross Wallace, Dwight Bearden, Donnie Harrison, Bobby Welker Sr., Brian Taylor, and Keith Hunter.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends from the AJAX Turner Sr. Citizens Center.
