Mr. James Willard Martin SR, age 84 of Stewart, TN, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
James entered this life on February 21, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, son to the late James Carlton and Thelma Irene Martin. James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. James was a truck driver and attended the Stewart United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Carl Wyley Martin; brothers, Alfred Leon Martin, Robert Edward Martin, Thomas Lee Martin, and Carl Gene Martin.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Martin; sons, James Willard Martin JR, James Willard Martin III, Larry James Gilligan; daughter, Roberta Joyce Martin; brother, Donald Wayne Martin; sister, Ollie Mae Ramage; and twelve grandchildren.
James wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service being held at a later date at the Stewart United Methodist Church in Stewart, TN.
