James Manning, Sr.

James August Manning, Sr., 69, Erin, TN formerly of Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Signature Health Care of Erin. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace Church Of The Nazarene, Clarksville, TN. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the church at the church. The remains are to be cremated. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Manning was born in Nashville, TN, January 31, 1941, son of the late, Hubert and Sara Louise Kinle Manning. Mr. Manning was a welder and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Manning is survived by a son, James A. Manning, Jr. of Joelton, TN; daughters, Christy Johnson of Clarksville and Virginia Clifton of Dover, TN; grandchildren, Virginia Terry, Seth Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Bryanna Manning; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hall and Jacob Donaldson.
