Kirk entered this life on September 3, 1970 in Clarksville, TN, son to James Phillip Clark and Sheryle Dean Bucciarelli. Kirk’s favorite part about life was being a Father! He was happiest when he was watching whatever his children were doing from sports in their local schools, travel ball, or his boys playing college basketball. Although he would say he didn't have anything to do with his daughters love of horses, you would often find him in the barn helping out. You never saw Kirk without his sidekick, his 9 year old lab Duke who walked every step Kirk took. Kirk was famous for nicknaming people and then making sure he embarrassed you publicly by calling you that very loudly at the most inconvenient times. Kirk was a loyal husband to his high school sweetheart, April, and they would have been married 30 years this fall. Kirk spent many years assisting and helping local students at TRES where yes, he was loved, and he loved joking and bringing much humor. He also loved sitting on the porch at his family’s local car lot talking shop with the guys, catching up. When people talk about Kirk, it usually ends up with his ability to aggravate you in a way you couldn’t help but to still love him when it was over. He was the ultimate jokester, the family’s constant presence, and his kid’s biggest fan. He will be greatly missed, but we know he has joined his father and granddaddy in heaven who he has desperately longed for for quite some time and he is no longer in pain and has a permanent smile.
In addition to his father, Kirk was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edgar Freeman Clark and maternal grandparents, Angelo Joseph and Dorothy Dale Bucciarelli.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, April Cary Clark; children, Phillip “Chase” Clark, Gannon “Chance” Clark, Chailey JoHannah “C.J” Clark; mother, Sheryle (Eddie) Brooks; grandmother, Mildred Lillie Rye Clark; brother, Dereck Myles Thompson; and uncles, G.E. (Rena), Jackie (Janie) Clark, Joey (Barbara) Bucciarelli, and Jerry Bucciarelli.
Serving as pallbearers will be Buzz Cary, Dwayne Deason, Allen Johnson, Lance Parker, Brent Schmidt and Billy Weatherspoon.
