James Franklin Huggins, Jr., 89 of Clarksville died Thursday March 8, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
James was born on October 22, 1922 in Montgomery County, son of the late James Franklin Huggins, Sr. and Mary Ellen Yarbrough Huggins. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Huggins. He was a member of Center Star Masonic Lodge #409.
James is survived by his wife, Martha Allie Clark Huggins; son, Glen Brian Huggins of Clarksville; grandchildren, Katie Elisha Mitchell and Brian Franklin Huggins; great-grandchildren, Taylor Allie Huggins, James Tracy Mitchell and Dalton Wayne Mitchell; brother, Hugh Huggins of Southside; sister, Mary Nell Clark of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Chris Clark, Robbie Malkowski, Scottie Makowski, Matt Clark, Blake Sykes, Macon Sykes, Harry Clark and Danny Deffendol. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Kenny Huggins, Eugene Huggins, DeWayne Rittenberry and Barry Clark. Online condolences may be made at NaveFuneralHomes.com
