James (Poopy) Hollis - 1948 James Edward Hollis, 61, Cunningham, Tn., died Friday, April 30, 2010, at VA Hospital, Nashville, Tn.. The funeral will be held at 2pm Monday at Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Denny and Bro. Bud Sherrell officiating. Burial will be in Brake View Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 3pm until 8pm Sunday and from 8am until service Monday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home, Erin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 27, 1948 in Dickson, Tn., son of the late Thomas Hollis and Willie Hutchison Hollis. Survivors include his wife Nancy Hollis of Cunningham, Tn., one son Dustin Hollis of Cunningham Tn., two brothers William Hollis of Cumberland Furnace, tn., Roy Hollis of Stewart Tn., and one sister Dixie Bowen of Abiline Kansas. Pallbearers will be Wendell Shelton, Jerry Luffman, Curt Wall, Ted Lewis, Murt Paisley, Tony Jarman, Wayne Dennis and Billy Johnson.
