James Higgins

James Ruben Higgins, age 87 of Erin, TN, passed away February 24, 2022 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastors Faye Sanders and Tosh Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Knight Cemetery.
The Higgins family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at noon.
James entered this life on May 9, 1934 in Tyronza, AK, son to the late Columbus and Beedy Higgins. James was the former Pastor of In time Pentecostal Church where he loved playing the banjo. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son in law, Darrell Tanner.
Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Martha Higgins; children, Pat Tanner, Chris (Vickie) Higgins, Joey Higgins and Bruce (Sabrina) Higgins. James also leaves behind eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Higgins, Bruce Higgins, Chase Self, Seth Larusch, Jacob Higgins and Joey Higgins.
