James Franklin Giles age 77, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, Clarksville, TN with Frank Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Clarksville.
The Giles family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
James entered into this life on June 11, 1941 in Christian County, KY son of the late William and Margaret Powers Giles. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 71, Telephone Pioneers, and an Honorary Kentucky Col. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Giles.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Cross Giles; children, Robert (Robin) Giles, James Kevin Giles, Ed (Edith) Muhler, and Kim (Glenn) Bussard; grandchildren, Keith Giles, Adrian Giles, McKayla Giles, Toby Muhler, and Owen Muhler; great-grandchildren, Emma West, Dayton West, and Major Wright; Sissy, and Bella.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
