James Thomas Eyclesheimer, age 64 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his residence.
He will laid to rest at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery.
James was born February 17, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Charles Walter Eyclesheimer and Alice Langa Eyclesheimer.
He is survived by his brother, Charles George Eyclesheimer and wife Lena who were his caregivers whom he lived with since 1984.
The family would like to thank his Doctors for their loving care.
Jimmie had Downs Syndrome for life and was bedridden for 31 years. He loved everyone and everyone in contact shared his love. Jimmie will be sorely missed. His main caregiver was his sister-in-law Lena which he called “Me-Mom, Ellie Mae. His brother, Charlie who filled in as caregiver when Lena could not in the last few months. Lena feels as though she has lost one of her children. No one will ever know the pain until they go through this Lena says. Lena lost her daughter (30 years old) in 1989 and the pain never goes away.
