James Dooley Sr.

James J. Dooley Sr., 66, Woodlawn, TN, formerly of Old Bridge, NJ, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 Friday, May 27, 2011 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, East Brunswick, New Jersey. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. the evening of the service. The remains will be cremated. Mr. Dooley was born December 3, 1944 in Jersey City, NJ and was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Erma Ertle Dooley; wife, Debra Dooley; and his daughter, Jennifer Dooley. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and retired from First Baptist Church as a Custodian. Survivors include his sons, James Dooley Jr., Manville, NJ, Richard Dooley, Scotch Plains, NJ, Jason (Patty) Dooley, Morganville, NJ; daughter, Maureen (Robert) Blair, Woodlawn, TN; one brother, two sisters, and five grandchildren.
