James “Doody” Norris, 84 Of Clarksville passed Sunday, September 2, 2018.
A Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. James Shepard officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
James was born on June 11, 1934 in Franklin, Ky., son of the late Haywood Arnold Norris and Mary Agnes Oakley Norris. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired Realtor, and former Owner of Norris Auto Sales. James was a member of First Baptist Church, member of Clarksville Realtors Association, and American Field Trail Association.
In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his wife, Elinor Sue Anderson Norris.
Survivors include his daughters; Harriett Norris (Mark) McCutchen, Suzanne Norris (Mark) Ulm, Leanne Norris Carnahan; grandchildren Jake McCutchen, Lauren Ulm Blackman, David Ulm, Elinor McCutchen Few, Rachel Whittinghill, Phillip Whittinghill III., Jacob Whittinghill, Clay Coleman; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Norris (Mike) Rittenberry.
