James Mitchell Cherry, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Megan Holland officiating.
The Cherry family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Mitchell entered into this life on August 14, 1952, son of the late Chester and Bettye Harper Cherry. He was a member and usher at Trinity Episcopal Church. Mitchell was also a member of Sons of American Revolution, Confederate Veterans, War of 1812, Jaycees, and Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was a graduate of Austin Peay State University and a local business owner.
Survivors include his daughter, Sallie (Jim) Eley; sons, Jim (Amanda) Cherry, and Joseph Cherry; grandchildren, Savannah Eley, Jack Cherry, and Penelope Cherry; special friends, Nick and Ed O’Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church.
