James E. "Sonny" Bryant, 75, Clarksville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Spring Meadows Healthcare.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Shiloh Cemetery in McKenzie, TN with Rev. S.N. "Sonny" Kim officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Sonny was born May 11, 1941 in Montgomery County, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Lester" and Dorothy May Bellamy Bryant; wife, Patsy Diane Webb; sister, Joyce Bryant Osborne; and step-son, Michael Scarbrough.
He was former owner and operator of P&S Transmission and a member of Grace Baptist Church in McKenzie.
Survivors include his daughter, Dana (Joey) Powell, and her mother, Sarah Frances Suiter Bryant; brother, Larry W. (Joyce) Bryant; sisters, Anne (Robert) Darden, Gayle (Mike) Bumpus; step-daughters, Debbie (Joe) Lowe, Lori Anderson; grandchildren, Dalton Powell, Kaitlin Powell; step-grandchildren, Cameron Baggett, Taryn Baggett, Jenine Lowe; step-great-grandson, Cameron Lowe; nephews, Kevin Osborne, Scotty Bryant; niece, Lori (Brian) Shelby; and great-nephew, Josh Osborne.
Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Jones, Billy Story, Gordon McFadden, William Bryant, Lemoine Black and Ed Johnson.
