James Arko

James Richard Arko, 66, Woodlawn, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Leland Carden officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Arko was born May 22, 1948 in Calumet, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents, George and Albertha Arko; wife, Katherine Arko; and his brothers, Raymond, George and Peter Arko.
He was a retired U.S. Navy Viet Nam Veteran and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his sons, Jeremy (Allison) Arko, Michael (Amanda) Arko; brothers, Paul Arko, Bob Arko, Ed Arko, Bernie Arko; sisters, Angie Soper, Sue Doty; grandchildren, Adrienne, Anna Katherine, Cadence, Hannah and Logan.
