Jack Weston, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 20, 2024. He was 38 years old. He lived a life full of adventure, service, and that touched the hearts of all those around him.
The Weston family will host a service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Woodlawn Community Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Born on July 6, 1985, Jack embraced life with a free spirit that guided him through various pursuits. From his time as an Eagle Scout to serving as a pharmacy tech in the Air Force, Jack's dedication and commitment shone brightly in everything he did. He was a graduate of Northwest High School, where he ran cross country, track, played soccer, and was on the wrestling team. After high school, he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology Degree from Austin Peay State University. His skills extended beyond the Air Force and being a pharmacy tech, as he also excelled as a barber and attained a black belt in karate, showcasing his diverse talents and thirst for knowledge. One of Jack's greatest passions was his love for nature and creation. He found solace in the beauty of the world around him and channeled this appreciation into his artistry. Whether he was crafting something new or simply admiring the wonders of the outdoors, Jack's connection to nature was evident in all aspects of his life. Throughout his lifetime, Jack enjoyed travelling the world. He was a light to all and was loved by everyone he met.
Above all else, Jack cherished his role as a devoted father to his children. His love knew no bounds as he embraced parenthood with unwavering dedication and endless affection. His faith was a cornerstone of his upbringing, having accepted Jesus into his heart at a young age at Woodlawn Church of the Nazarene. Jack's spiritual journey led him to serve in various capacities within his church community, embodying the values of kindness, compassion, and selflessness.
He is survived by his wife, Chelsea Weston; children, Winthrop Weston, Easton Weston, Annabelle Weston, and Adeline Weston; parents, Jon and Robyn Weston; siblings, Jennifer Weston, Christopher (Julie) Weston, and Terza (Dean) Harper. Jack also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
