Louis Edward (Jack) Wall, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Dickson Health & Rehab.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Rye's Chapel Cemetery.
The Wall family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jack entered into this life on October 25, 1935 in Southside, Tennessee, son of the late Sidney Calvin Wall and Lottie Louise Swaw Wall. Growing up he was the youngest of nine children and attended Montgomery Central High School. He was retired from a lifelong career in construction and farming and enjoyed cultivating plants, flowers, vegetables, and tobacco. Jack was a member of the Gray's Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his loving wife, Karen (Countess) Wall; children, Larry Gilbert, Sr., Bryan (Amy) Gilbert, and Terri (Ron) Person; former daughter-in-law, Shari Gilbert; sister, Violetta Lee; grandchildren, Amber O'Brien, Patricia Myers, Johnathon Person, Larry Gilbert, Jr., and Joshua Gilbert; and five great grandchildren.
