Jack Clayton Parchman passed away Oct. 31, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Wilburn officiating.Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8pm Wednesday and from 8am until service Thursday at the funeral home.Burial will be at Lewis Cemetery with Military Honors He was born March 22, 1934 in Houston County,Tn. son of the late John C. Parchman and Byde E. Nolan Parchman. Retired after 20 years in the US Air Force, Flight Enginer and retired from US Rural Route Mail Carrier. He has been one of the Houston County Magistrate for about 10 years. Married to Shirley Cole O’Brien Parchman since1981.two children by a previous marriage to Geraldene Grace Huff Parchman.Mrs.Jacquelyn F.Parchman Curtis,CA,and John B.Parchaman of Cunningham,Tn. 1 step son Michael W.O’Brien of Erin,Tn. 4 grandchildren Sonja, Sarah, Suzanne, Shannon,4 step grandchildren Michael, Stacey, Jennifer, Tiphaney , 8 great grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chad Smith, Brain Hooper, Jo Thomas, Mark Moore, Steve Gray, Darrell Allison Honorary pallbearers will be Houston County Sherriff Dept. ,Erin City Police Dept. Mayor Tommy Parchman and Judge Sid Vinson.
