Jack Lankford, age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Burial with Full US Army Honors will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 29, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Jack entered this life on February 22, 1942, in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late David and Carrie Harmon Lankford. He was a Retired Veteran of The United States Army, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer II. Jack was also retired from American Commercial Barge Line. He was a Christian, he enjoyed gardening and flea markets.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 62 years, Georgia Lankford; sons, Greg Lankford, Doug Lankford, and Tim (April) Lankford; brother, Charles Lankford; grandchildren, Dougie, Autumn, and Timmy, and six great-grandchildren.
