Ernest “Jack” Jackson Hardison Jr., age 71, formerly of Clarksville, passed away February 1, 2022, in Orlando, Florida.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Jack entered into this life on November 22, 1950, in Clarksville, TN to the late Ernest and Annie Ruth Hardison. Jack was a graduate of Clarksville High School and a long-time UT football fan. He was the guy who could fix anything and had perfected grilling everything on his Big Green Egg. He was also an avid fan of new technology and loved his gadgets. Jack considered his sobriety one of his greatest accomplishments, with this year marking 34 years sober. He remained involved in Alcoholics Anonymous and was so appreciative of the support and encouragement that he received from his Aftercare group at Cumberland Heights.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Linda Hardison; children, Heather Hardison-Flair, Trey Hardison, Jefferson (Francesca) Brant, Katie (Brian) Cohen; grandchildren, Paige Dennis (Daniel Beecroft), Reid Lindstrom, Duke Cohen, Ellis Cohen, Anderson Brant; great-grandson, Kipp Beecroft; sisters Carol (Luke) Baker and Connie (Gaylon) Rosson.
