Jack Allen age 81 of Stewart, TN passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at V.A. Hospital in Nashville.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Nave Funeral Home with the Rev. Denise Settle and Rev. Beverly Dycus officiating. Burial will be in Cane Creek Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 and 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Jack was born January 12, 1932 in Tullahoma, TN, son of the late, Aldon B. and Audrey Morrison Allen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired Superintendent with Eller and Olsen Stone Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret McPheron Allen.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Roger Allen of Chapmansboro, TN and Reagan Allen of Springfield, TN; daughter, Rhonda Morales of Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Girdich, Brittany Martinez, Tabitha Allen and Samantha Allen; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Natalie and Nichole Fewell; sister, Dixie Hagedorn of Birmingham, AL.
Pallbearers will be, Roger Allen, Reagan Allen, Buddy Uselton, Carl Shannon, Howard Day, Wendell Lassiter, Dave Dycus and Ricky Jackson.
