J. Roy Lewis - 1920 James Roy (J. Roy) Lewis, 90, Cumberland City, Tn., died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Gateway Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Lela Roby and Bro. Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm with a masonic service at 7pm Thursday and from 8am until service time Friday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 9, 1920 in Stewart County, Tn. Son of the late James R. Lewis Sr. and Ethal Halliday Lewis. He was a member of Cumberland City Masonic Lodge #370 for 50 years. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Johnson Lewis. Survivors include one son Jimmy Lewis of Cumberland City, Tn., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tom Halaberton, Jerry Mann, Cliff Johnson, Steve Johnson, Charles Hamilton, Darryle McIntosh and Graham Sexton.
