Isabella Mandel Griffis (Completed) - 1935 Isabella Mandel Griffis, 73, Clarksville, died Thursday, September 3, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds - Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 til 7p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and from Noon till the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Griffis was born November 2, 1935, in Vierheim, Germany, the daughter of Adam and Katarina Mandel. She was a seamstress for the Jay Garment Co. for 30 yrs. and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Herman Ray Griffis. Mrs. Griffis is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Ron) Sample and Patricia (Kerry) Parker both of Clarksville, two sisters Rita Gruben and Gertrude Hanss, Grandchildren, Jessica Todd, Lauren Blake, Ryan Sample, Steven Gehrke, Stephanie Jones, and Heather Stewart and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven Gehrke, Ryan Sample, Tyler Black, Ben Todd, Jesse Donegan, Gerrad Martin and Tony Nowick.
