Irmtraud "Oma" Emrich, age 84, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home in Indian Mound.

"Oma", as she was affectionately called by her family, entered into this life on April 23, 1932 in Worms, Germany to parents Johann and Kathrine Stefan Beckbach. She was a grocery market owner and a member of the Lutheran church.
Irmtraud was preceded in death her husband, Heinrich Emrich, and her grandchild, David Travis. Survivors include her sons, Hans Werner and Klaus Peter; daughters, Stefanie Travis and Ursula Bergner; and her six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
