Iris June Burross, 78, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at her home in Cunningham.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Iris was born May 27, 1933 in Dickson, Tennessee, daughter of Robert Clarence and Roena Street England. She was retired from a career in sales. She was of the Methodist faith and was active in Girl Scout Troops of Clarksville.
Preceding Iris in death are her parents and her brothers, Harry B. England and Harris D. England. Survivors include her husband, George W. Burross of Cunningham; her son, George M. Burross of Clarksville; daughter Karin Eberhart and her husband William of Fort Collins, CO; brother Billy F. England of Dickson; sister Weda Donegan of Dickson; grandchildren Stepheny Campbell, David Tanner Eberhart, and Toby Robert Eberhart; and great granddaughter Rayna Lillith Flores.
Pallbearers will be George M. Burross, William Eberhart, David Tanner Eberhart, Toby Robert Eberhart, Thomas Smith, and Alf Pedersen.
