Ines Abbott

Ines Marie Abbott, age 90, of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Revs. Windell Moore and Mike Burton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Ines’ family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Ines entered into this life on October 29, 1927 in Montgomery County to the late Marshall Acey Hodges and Fannie Irene Neblett Hodges. She was retired from WalMart where she worked as a sales clerk and enjoyed worshipping with her church family at the Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lawanda Green (Victor) of Chattanooga, Linda Williams (LeRoy) of Redbud, IL, Laverne Angus of Shelbyville, Joseph Abbott, Sr. (Trish) of Athens, AL, Marshall Abbott of Chattanooga, and Jeffrey Abbott (Venus) of Clarksville. Also, she was the loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Roberts, Kelvin Wilkes, Tim Beliveau, Christopher Abbott, Marshall Davis Abbott, Jr., Ryan Atkinson, Daniel Williams, Joseph Abbott, Jr., Brandon Woodring, and Jeffrey Abbott, Jr.
