Ilse Corey

Ilse Lina (Oma) Corey, 78, Clarksville, died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Lonnie Perigo officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 14, 1930 in Ruchheim Germany, daughter of Karl Rauth and Erna Eva Roos Rauth. Mrs. Corey worked for AAFES at Fort Campbell and was Secretary for the WK&T Chapter for the 101st Airborne Association Ladies Auxillary. Mrs. Corey was preceded in death by her eldest son, Samuel Corey. Survivors include her husband CSM (Ret.) Samuel T. Corey of Clarksville; sons Robert L. Corey of Chattanooga, Richard M. Corey of Joelton, and Shannon Corey of Florida; daughters Cynthia Swauger of Florida, Carolyn Cummings of Adams, and Cathy Stuard of Adams; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Corey, Richard Corey, Shannon Corey, Christopher Corey, Robert Teeter, Larry Stuard, Brad Blocker, and Christopher Stuard.
