Idella Dent

Idella Mae Dent, age 102, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
Her family will receive friends Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park, in Macon, GA.
Idella, affectionately known as "SoSo", entered into this life on November 23, 1915 in Jones county Georgia, daughter of the late James and Annie Christian Bloodworth. She retired from Bibb County, Georgia Sheriff's Department after 30 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, working word puzzles, playing cards, and bingo. She is survived by her children, Dr. Felts (Patsy) Dent, of Clarksville, TN, Johnny (Jessica) Bloodworth, of Byron, GA, and Deborah (Joe) White, of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Donna (Sam) Shorter, Teri (James) Lindsey, Dallas White, Amanda White, and Justin T. Bloodworth; nine great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Idella was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon, GA, and attended First Baptist Clarksville during her time in Clarksville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maner Dent; infant daughter, Shirley Ann Dent; brothers, James Jimmy Bloodworth, and J.W. Bloodworth; sister, Vivian Bloodworth Hoover.
