Howard Steiner, age 81, went to be with his Lord, Friday, August 10, 2018 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Howard’s family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday.
Howard was born May 22, 1937 son of the late Ray and Goldie Rutledge Steiner. He was retired from both farming and a 30 year career in maintenance at First Baptist Church of Clarksville and was a member of the church family at Dotsonville Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Sue Steiner; son, Chris Steiner (Brandy); grandchildren, Cade and Brice Steiner; brothers, Rev. Lawrence Steiner and Rev. Clarence Steiner (Virginia); sisters, Evelyn Riggins and Beulah Mae Austin; and fourteen nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by one niece and one nephew.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
