Howard VanBuren McNeal, age 70 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Park Lane Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Craig Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the church.
Howard was born on September 1, 1945 in Metter, GA, the son of the late John Sullivan McNeal and Ollie Mae Dekle McNeal. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Jacquline McNeal; brother, Samuel McNeal; sisters, Veloria Holloway and Mabelle Brazil. He was a member of Park Lane Church of the Nazarene and worked for Zimmer Manufacturing.
He is survived his wife, Christina Mudd McNeal; daughter, Lynette (Robert) Dougherty; sons, David McNeal, Michael McNeal, and Jason Smith; grandchildren, Taylor Dougherty, Catlin Dougherty, Keaton Dougherty, Faith Dougherty, and Holden McNeal; brothers, John McNeal, Joe McNeal, and Joshua McNeal.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at P.O. box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
