Howard Earl Johnson, 62 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015.
A celebration of his life with full military honors will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born April 23, 1953 in Winston Salem, NC and was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Earl and Inez Gunnings Johnson.
Johnson was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Allied Barton Security and a member of St. John Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of over 29 years, Sharon Simmons Johnson; daughter, Shante Clark; sisters, Melinda Gunnings, Becky Johnson; grandsons, Jaylin Clark, Jovan St. Julian.
