Howard V. Copeland, age 80 of Clarksville, TN, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with Rev. Charles Martin officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Copeland was born November 18, 1930 in Robertson County, TN and was preceded in death by his father, Bertie Copeland; mother, Dovie Frazier Copeland; step-mother, Dovie Raines Copeland; brother, Jesse Copeland; sisters, Lucille Waters, Ruthie Lyle, Queenie Roberts; and his half-brothers, John Copeland and Allen Copeland.
Survivors include his sons, Keith (Cissy) Copeland, Adams, TN, Kenny (Heidi) Copeland, Clarksville; grandchildren, Jenna, Sarah, Morgan and Summer Copeland; half-brother, Gary Copeland; and half-sisters, Joyce Bruso and Janet Rushing.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 517 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040; or the Salvation Army, 210 Kraft Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
