Herschel Hogan

Herschel Thomas Hogan, 64, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m, Thursday, January 2, 2014 with Rev. Dwayne Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Austin Smith Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born June 27, 1949 in Clarksville, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel Wayne and Elizabeth Griffey Hogan; sister, Margie Winchester; and brother, Gene Hogan.
Mr. Hogan was formerly employed by the State Forestry Division and retired from Montgomery County Highway Department after 39 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Lambert Hogan; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Harrison; son, Steven Thomas Hogan; brothers, Wayne Hogan, Dofort Hogan; sister, Janie Anderson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
