Helen M. Heflin, age 71 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
A celebration of her life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Heflin was born March 20, 1940 in Heimansville, KY and was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Addie Druen; husband, James Heflin, Sr.; son, James Heflin, Jr. and daughter, Karen Raines.
She was a homemaker and a christian who loved her family and her dog Quincy.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda (John) Copeland, Clarksville, Cheryl (Kevin) Tucker, Lebanon, IN; grandchildren, Larry Adams, Jr., Timothy Adams, Jeremy Tucker, Jessica Davis, Christopher Tucker, Joseph Adams, Amanda Morrison, Peggy Black, Rachel Wilkerson, Sarah Meek, Jimmy Heflin; and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Black, Chris Davis, Jason Meek, Timmy Adams, Larry Adams and Josh Morrison.
