Helen Lorene Groves, 72, Clarksville, died Friday, February 13, 2009, at Clarksville Manor Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2009 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bart Pemberton officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 22, 1937 in Montgomery County daughter of Garland Gibbs and Judy Shelton Gibbs. Mrs. Groves was retired from Wal-Mart. Other than her mother, Clarksville, survivors include her husband, Edgar Groves, Clarksville; son, Jerry Groves, Clarksville; daughters, Vicki Choate, Clarksville, Rhonda Johnson, Pleasant View, Tammy Byard, Clarksville; sister, Kathy Westfall, Cadiz, KY; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
