Helen Ruth Ellarson, 78, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 with Bob Herndon officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ellarson was born July 9, 1937 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Susie Shelton Sykes; and her husband, John Q. Ellarson.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Ellarson Automotive and a Methodist.
Survivors include her son, Johnny (Vanessa) Ellarson; daughter, Kathy (Alan) Hitchcock; half-sister, Christine Stempien; grandchildren, Jonna (Kevin) Yarbrough, Vanna (Benton) Jackson, Nathan (Shanna) Hitchcock; great-grandchildren, Drew Yarbrough, Kate Yarbrough, Madison Hitchcock, Miley Hitchcock, Luke Yarbrough and Caylor Jackson.
