Helen Ruth Beard, age 71 of Erin, TN, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Beard Family Cemetery in Cumberland City, TN.
Helen entered this life on June 30, 1943 in Palmyra, TN, daughter to the late John and Emma Schmittou Powell. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her late husband, William Elbert Beard.
Survivors include daughters, Becky (Mark) Erickson, Donna (Walter) Veal; sisters, Margaret Reddick, Thelma Dellar; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Snow, Brant Veal, Jacob Erickson, Monty Reddick, Tom Reddick, John Beard, and William Beard.
