Hedwig West

Hedwig Boxheimer West, 82, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. B.J. Brack and Beverly Dycus officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born November 19, 1926 in Saopaolo, Brazil and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, CSM Winfred Owen West (Ret). Mrs. West was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Urban Ministries. She is survived by her son, William (Bill) Winfred West, Clarksville; grandchildren, Gordon Rivera West, Lawton, OK, and Kelly Michelle West, Franklin, TN.
