Hazel K. Smith, 90, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born July 11, 1922 in Stewart County and was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott A. and Lucy Payne Shoemaker; and her husband, Maurice A. "Jack" Smith.
She belonged to the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Robert G. "Bob" (Lisa) Smith, Franklin, TN, Clifton M. Smith, Clarksville; daughter-in-law, Raynell Smith, Clarksville; brothers, Aaron Shoemaker, Clarksville, Lawrence Shoemaker, North Carolina; sisters, Martha Jane Rogers, Clarksville, Susie Ann Edwards, Hopkinsville; grandchildren, Holly Calk, Heidi Jarrett, Jackson Smith, Drew Smith, Alanna Smith; great-grandchildren, Emma Smith, Gavin Smith, Isabella Calk and Adeline Calk.
