Hazel Fendley Fletchall Dudgeon, 93 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
Local services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.
A service will also be held in her hometown in McNairy County, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Stantonville United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.
She will be laid to rest at West Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hazel was born July 1, 1922 in Morgan County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ervia Fendley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James K. Fletchall Sr.; second husband, Floyd M. Dudgeon; her twin sister, Mazel Hinshaw; sister, Ruth Williamson; brother, Richard Fendley.
She held her membership at Stantonville United Methodist Church but locally attended Madison Street United Methodist Church. Hazel was a 50+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a 35 year member of Stantonville FCE Home Demonstration Club. She was also an adult literacy teacher for the West Tennessee Literacy Council.
Survivors include her sons, James K. (Ann) Fletchall, Jr. and Patrick M. (Eva) Fletchall; daughter, Pamela M. (Jack) Pickard; sister, Mildred Fendley; brother, John Fendley; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Fletchall Miller, James Michael Fletchall, Paige Pickard Eisemann, and April M. Fletchall; 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
