Hazel Davis

Hazel Catherine Davis, 93, Royal Oak, Michigan, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Ben Reed officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 17, 1916 in Clarksville, TN, daughter of George and Lottie Bryant Elliot. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Davis. Hazel was a loving Mother and Grandmother, formerly worked at Montgomery Wards in Clarksville and Sears in Highland Park, MI selling ladies apparrel, and was a member of the First Methodist Church. Hazel is survived by her son, Gene Stanley Davis (Sandra) of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and grandchildren Jarred Scott Davis, Genna Michelle Davis, and Kilian Edgar Davis. Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, Jarred Davis, Kilian Davis, Mark Boone, David Boone, and Calvin Boone
