Harry O. Richards, age 90 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary Prayer Service following at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Harry was born on March 27, 1925 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of the late Harold G. Richards and Lucy L. Davis-Richards. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Harry had a long career in Insurance Sales and was the owner of HR Financial Planners for 17 years.
He is survived by his cousin, Darrell (Ronalda) Smith of Old Hickory, TN; god-sons, Chase Smith of Hermitage, TN, Clay Smith of St. Louis, MO, Clark Smith of Dayton, TN, and Christian Smith of Chattanooga, TN; nephew, Dennis Smith of Machesney Park, IL.
Harry’s god-sons will serve as pallbearers.
