Harold Ray Baggett (Tatie) age 83, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Brookdale Memory Care Facility.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Summers Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Harold was born July 26, 1939, in Cunningham, TN to the late Isham and Mary Haynes Baggett. Mr. Baggett graduated from Montgomery Central High School and retired from Trane Company after forty years. He served two years in the Army with the 82nd Engineers. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and a long term member of the Joe Haley Life Group. Harold loved hunting, fishing, and going to lunch with friends at the Country Diner most days following his retirement. He looked forward to attending the 82nd Engineer Reunion each year. He was a proud supporter of APSU athletics and a member of the Governor’s Club. He and Ann traveled throughout the United States visiting many National Parks.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Ann Summers Baggett; daughter, Amy (Robert) Eley; grandson, Scott (Brandy) Eley; greatgrandchildren, Kadence and Gwen; sister-in-law, Jane Summers (William) Leach.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Joe Haley Life Group.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hilldale Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
