Grace Louise Travis, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Resthaven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Grace was born in Nortonville, Kentucky, daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Sullivan Chance. She was a retired Cafeteria Supervisor at St. Bethlehem Elementary School and was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, MSG (Ret) Bailey Travis, U.S. Army and retired owner of Bailey Travis Gulf Station, and her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Travis. Survivors include her sons and their wives, Ron and Linda Travis of Knoxville, TN and Dale and Glenda Travis of Tallahassee, FL; and her grandchildren, John Travis and Emily Osteich.
